LED Dimming Systems

We invented the digital trailing-edge dimmer! The MR4 reverse phase (trailing edge) was the first digital dimmer on the market to successfully and properly dim virtually every type of dimmable LED lamp. It smooths out issues of flickering, flashing, swirling, and dropout as well as maintains low end control for super low light levels and strong lamp re-ignition. While many lamps are engineered reverse-phase (trailing edge), many others are not. Some are forward phase (leading edge) and some are a mixture of mid-phase. With the PLS MR4™ 2400, we also invented a dimmer with the ability to change from one phase to another, so that the dimmer can match the many different variations of lamps being used in agriculture. It’s a simple user friendly button push to make it happen. Other dimmers lock you in to the bulb they are currently selling, but the PLS MR4™ 2400 allows you to properly dim virtually any LED lamp. Find the lamp you prefer and the MR4™ will dim it. The MR4 comes in two models: Standard and PTC. Both can be run manually and both can be run through a controller. PTC stands for Programmable Time Controller, which means it has the added capability to act as a stand-alone controller and can be set up to run a lighting program to suit your needs. This is done through a free program, provided by Precision Lighting, which is downloaded to a laptop computer (not compatible with iOS operating systems), and then uploaded to the PTC version of the MR4.
